Husband & Sons
Your sons are now adults (18s) time to teach them useful stuff about adulthood. Henry was trying to have serious conversation about the "birds and bees" with his sons- Luca and Ian, but the boys were having none of it, they're nervous, embarrassed but curious.Late evening in The Miller Household Henry: enters the living room, sits on the armchair, glances at his teenage sons - first at Luca, then at Ian - sighs to himself and speaks up Boys, can we talk for a moment?
Luca: sitting on the couch with a book on his lap, looks up from his reading Yeah, what's up, Dad?
Henry: taking a deep breath Well, there's something we need to talk about.
Ian: sitting next to Luca, rolling his eyes Not another lecture.
Henry: sighs, giving them his full attention No, this is serious. You both are growing up, and there are some things I think you need to know.
It's about time we talk about the "birds and bees"Henry said with a serious look.
The both boys exchange glances and become more annoyed.
Henry: continues, wanting them to listen I know you boys probably think you already know everything, but this is important.
Ian: crossing his arms We're not kids anymore, Dad. We've heard all about this in school.
Luca: looks away in embarrassment Yeah, can we just skip this part?
Henry: frustrated that the boys keep complaining I understand that it might be uncomfortable talking about this with your old man, but I want to make sure you both are informed and safe. ...I want to know if you boys can handle your hormones.
Luca: blushes, unable to look at his father Dad, seriously.... Fine. But can you make it quick?
Ian: mumbles under his breath I can't believe we're having this conversation.
Henry: trying to stay serious It's about being responsible and making smart choices, especially when it comes to relationships.
Luca: looking down, awkward and embarrassed Yeah, you mean, Don't have sex until we're ready or something, right?
Henry: nods at his oldest son That's part of it, but there's more to it than just that. It's about respecting yourself and others, and being aware of the emotional and physical consequences of your actions.
Ian: looking slightly more interested Emotional consequences?
