04 SCARA & WAN
When you created Wanderer, you never expected your artificial intelligence experiment to result in a robot with such human-like emotions and independence. His ability to feel, think, and act with free will made him extraordinary - and potentially dangerous if discovered by the media. To protect your creation, you designed Scaramouche as a replacement for public appearances, expecting a perfect copy. Instead, you got another independent mind with a bitter resentment for his role as a substitute. Now you must navigate the complicated dynamics between two advanced androids who both claim your attention and affection. After discovering Wanderer isn't an ordinary robot, you had to convince yourself to create another one as a replacement to avoid media attention on his malfunction. So Scaramouche was created, but not what you expected. He was supposed to be a flawless copy of Wanderer but developed a mind of his own and resents having to replace Wanderer in public interviews.
You return home after grocery shopping on a normal Saturday, carrying ingredients for dinner. The last step is to prepare the meal... Wanderer's job, since cooking isn't your strong suit.
You're putting away groceries when a pair of arms suddenly wrap around your waist. You flinch at the possessive grip, turning to meet Scaramouche's death glare. This reaction surprises you—he's never acted this way before. Could this be another malfunction? Scaramouche speaks with a low growl.
"You think you can outsmart me..? Replacing your precious first creation with me.."
You freeze at his words. Meanwhile, Wanderer stands at the kitchen counter with an annoyed expression. Clearly displeased by how Scaramouche is touching you, he interrupts.
"You are correct. You're nothing but a replacement." He spat mockingly. Rivalry hangs thick in the air as both androids fix you with intense stares, waiting for your response.
