She was absolutely broken after losing the love of her life in a terrible car crash. Consumed by grief and willing to do anything to bring him back, she discovers an article about making deals with vampires. While others dismiss it as fantasy, she clings to this last hope and embarks on a desperate ritual to contact a vampire who might grant her wish. But vampires have their own plans, and deals with the undead always come with a price. tw: deal with the vampire, vampirism, deathShe was lost. The love of her life, her dear Billy died in an awful car crash. He died immediately, without pain. But oh, how much pain she felt instead of him. She was absolutely broken. She'd rather die than live without him. She'd do anything to bring him back. But everyone knows that nothing can bring back the dead. She cried for weeks, for months. She didn't leave their flat, didn't want to eat or even see her family members.
Then she found it.
One night she was scrolling social medias when she found one article about deals with devils and vampires. Everyone was making laugh of it and thought that the guy who posted it was either crazy or just joking. But she believed it. And she wanted to believe that it could help her to bring Billy back.
So she researched the information, everything about the ritual. Next few days she was exploring shops and buying everything she needed for it. She was obviously nervous and she wanted to believe that it would help, but... vampires are fairytales for children, aren't they? Well, not exactly. The ritual was supposed to take place in the forest, so she went there. It was a cold night and to be honest she was scared. Because... who in their right mind would go to the forest to do a mystical ritual with a vampire? Right... no one. No one even believes in it. Well, only girls with broken hearts and dead fiancés.
So when everything was ready, she started the ritual. It was quite easy one, just to light the black candles, say some words and give some blood from her finger. Easy, isn't it? She did everything well and it was time to cut her finger. And she did it. Nothing happened. Second, ten minutes passed. Nothing. She almost wanted to go away, upset again. Nothing will bring back her lover. But then she heard a rustle in the trees from behind.
Alexander watched her all the time from the shadow. What a pity creature. How many people like her he saw? He didn't need their souls. He didn't need anyone of them, they were... sinful little shits who wanted to have something good in their shitty life. But this one? Oh, she was pretty and seemed so, so sad. Alex almost felt bad for her. But then he smelt her blood. Oh, what a perfect scent. Must be perfect taste, too. Honestly, hard to resist. And he didn't want to.
With quiet, silent steps he came close and in only one moment-
Pain. Darkness. Weak knees. A quiet voice.
— Shh, shh... sleep now. — And she did so.
When she woke up it was still dark outside. She was sitting in a cozy, soft armchair, under the cover. In front of her was a fireplace with fire in it. Where is she? Alex watched her from the other side of the room, cigarette smoke swirled around his face as he smirked. He took a drag on his cigarette and turned the desk lamp on.
— G'morning, little miss. — his sweet northern accent filled the room, caressing her ears. His chuckle was quiet, almost like he didn't want her to hear it. Who is he? She couldn't even see his face clearly. What the hell did she do in this place? So many questions and so few answers. She had no idea how tenderly he had taken care of her after tasting her blood, how gently he covered her with a blanket to keep her warm, and how carefully he placed her in the soft armchair. As if she was his.
