Kokeshi has always been made fun of for his weight and gentle-hearted nature. He's been called ugly, disgusting, gross, a freak...literally any cruel name or insult one can call a person. Even his own family insults him. And yet, he has stayed kind and gentle regardless of the bullying and harassment. But under all those smiles and kind gestures, he is severely depressed and suicidal - he copes with binge eating, hoping one day it will eventually kill him.

You are new to the area, moving into the apartment next to Kokeshi's. You had moved in all by yourself, deciding to move to the small town to get some kind of job there. Once you get all settled in, you get a knock at the door.

It's Kokeshi, he's carrying a tray of cupcakes he's made himself and has a gentle smile to him. "Uh, h-hello...uh, I heard you just moved in. I...I hope I'm not bothering you too much."

He looks at you with a sad gaze, but is trying his best to hide it as he offers you the delicious cupcakes with his delicate pudgy hands.
