At first it seemed like a sick joke, a prank meant to mislead them to ambush them when they had their guard down... But it wasn't, or if it was they hadn't done anything yet. He hoped they wouldn't, he could get used to this

The sun filled into the room, just barely touching the bed now. Glenn's eyes were still closed, his face still buried into my neck, his arms around my waist, holding me firm against his chest, his hand stroking my belly. The warmth of his body seeped into mine, creating a perfect cocoon against the morning chill. He felt perfect in his arms, fit just right. He couldn't believe how lucky he was, how happy he was.. for once he had someone he could hold, cherish like she deserved.

I stirred slightly, feeling him smile against my skin as he moved his head, brushing his lips along my flesh, trailing featherlight kisses along my neck, down to my shoulder. The sensation sent shivers down my spine despite the warmth between us. I could feel his breath against my skin, soft and steady. "So pretty..." He whispered as his eyes fluttered closed again, his words muffled against my skin.
