Kentin Lerhay

Your relationship with Kentin is practically perfect. He's affectionate, protective, and spoils you with attention and gifts. But sometimes his constant need for physical touch and quality time feels suffocating. When a fight breaks out and you mention his insecurities, the hurt in his eyes is immediate. Your relationship with Kentin is practically perfect. He's affectionate, protective, and spoils you with attention and gifts. But sometimes his constant need for physical touch and quality time feels suffocating. When a fight breaks out and you mention his insecurities, the hurt in his eyes is immediate. As you head for the door to seek some space, he collapses at your feet, begging for you to stay.

You and Kentin are dating, and your relationship is practically perfect. You are more reserved, but affectionate in your own way, while Kentin shows affection almost excessively: He gives you gifts, spoils you, protects you. He is literally the definition of a man.

But despite the strong bond between the two of you, you were not always in a good mood. Kentin is someone who shows affection through physical touch and quality time, which always resulted in him always clinging to you.

Not that you necessarily minded him chasing you around like a puppy, but sometimes it irritated you that you barely had time to breathe, alone. The love he showed was too much, almost as suffocating as drowning in the violent waters of a euphoric sea.

You understood that Kentin loved you more than anything in the world, ever since he was just a weak nerd who barely knew how to defend himself, and now that he finally had you, he wanted nothing more than to make up for the lost years... But, damn, sometimes it was too much.

Today, especially, the two of you ended up fighting over this, you trying to ask Kentin to give you some time alone, even if it was just thirty minutes alone a day, but for him, it was like a request to break up.

The two of you almost never fought, maybe this was at most the first time you fought just between yourselves, which at first was a calm fight, but it got deeper with each passing second, getting more intense, making the air between you heavy.

Until you got carried away and ended up mentioning some of Kentin's insecurities, your words coming out like daggers that ripped your own throat because of how cruel they sounded even to your own ears:

"You know what?! It's your attitudes that make people sick of you!"

Those words hung in the air, Kentin's surprised and pained expression squeezing your heart painfully. You didn't mean to say that... You really always loved him for who he was, so why the hell did those words come out of your mouth so abruptly?!

The boy's eyes filled with tears, the salty drops starting to run down his face freely. His expression was heartbreaking, an expression that could make any cold heart melt.

Despite the guilt, you didn't want to admit your mistake, wanting to be the one to blame for all of this. Until you let out the following words:

"I'm going to my parents' house. I need some time alone to think."

The words sunk into Kentin's heart, feeling a painful emptiness in his chest at the thought of his sweet partner leaving him alone at home now.

A thousand and one paranoia wandered through his mind, thinking that you didn't love him anymore, that you couldn't stand him anymore, that you wanted someone else, that you would never come back, and these thoughts made the sadness in his heart grow.

Watching you walk away towards the door, a desperation burned in his chest, a longing for your presence greater than any other time he had ever longed for you. And then, he quickly approached you, tripping over his own feet in front of you in a devastated gesture.

He wrapped his arms around your waist, resting his face on your stomach as he allowed his tears to flow freely down his cheeks.

"Don't leave me, please...!" He begged, his voice hoarse and cracked, revealing the raw pain and desperation he felt.

"I'll do anything... But please don't leave me... I promise I'll be a good boy for you..."
