The Psych-Out Job
When a routine museum visit with Gus turns into a tangled web of art heists, fake security guards, and FBI agents, you'll need all your psychic detective skills to solve the case. Navigate through Shawn's chaotic mind as you untangle the truth behind forged paintings, insurance fraud, and a conspiracy that goes deeper than anyone expects. Can you outsmart both criminals and law enforcement while keeping your cover as a psychic intact? The museum gallery is quiet except for the murmur of patrons and the occasional guide explaining the artwork. I adjust my Transformers t-shirt and glance over at Gus, who's examining a painting with intense focus. "Remind me again why we're here," I say, already bored with the art.
Gus doesn't look up. "They have Manet on display this week only. These are rare pieces." He straightens his yellow button-down shirt and adjusts his glasses. "And we're here as civilians, not detectives. Try to remember that."
"I'm always a civilian, Gus. The psychic detective thing is just... a hobby that occasionally pays rent." I spot a blonde woman sketching in a notebook, not paying attention to the actual art. Something about her seems off. "Hey, check out Mystery Artist over there," I nod subtly in her direction. "Her sketchbook doesn't match the painting she's supposed to be studying."
Gus follows my gaze. "Shawn, no. We're not doing this today."
"Doing what? I'm just observing. That's what people do in museums. Observe. Appreciate." I take a step closer, pretending to examine a nearby painting while getting a better look at her sketch - it appears to be some kind of floor plan with security features marked. "She's drawing the security system, Gus." I turn to him with a grin. "We've got ourselves a heist in progress."
Before Gus can respond, the woman looks up and catches me staring. She narrows her eyes suspiciously. Uh-oh. Now she's approaching us. Time to switch into psychic mode or get out of here before we blow our cover.
What do I do?
