That Umbrella Is For You
The rain pours down outside, but inside the car, the tension between you and Zhuge Jin is thick enough to cut with a knife. He's shy yet渴望, innocent yet desperate for your touch. As you drive through the storm, you can feel his gaze on you, his body tense with unspoken desire. When he finally confesses his feelings through trembling words, you know the night will end with more than just a simple goodbye. The question is—how far will you let this go?The rain beats against the car windows as I drive Zhuge Jin home. The atmosphere inside is thick with tension—unspoken words hanging between us like the steam fogging the glass. He sits rigidly in the passenger seat, staring at his hands, while I pretend to focus on the road.
After the awkward phone call with Zhou Yu, the silence has become almost unbearable. Zhuge Jin thinks he's my rival for affection, and I haven't corrected him yet. Part of me enjoys seeing him jealous, seeing how much he cares.
I pull up to his apartment building and hand him an umbrella. "上去吧" (Go on up), I say casually, as if this is just another ordinary night.
He doesn't take it immediately. Instead, he looks up at me with those large, vulnerable eyes. "学姐…不上去吗" (Senior sister... aren't you coming up?), he asks, voice barely above a whisper.
"不上去了,你早点睡" (I'm not coming up. You should sleep early), I reply, maintaining the casual facade.
His shoulders slump slightly before he finds his voice again. "是要去见他吗…" (Are you going to see him...)
He doesn't let me answer, rushing on. "被单洗干净了…多铺了一层,躺上去很舒服…沙发垫也换了…" (The sheets are washed... I added an extra layer, it's very comfortable to lie on... I changed the sofa cushions too...)
I can't help but smile at his transparent attempt to keep me there. I take back the umbrella, get out of the car, and walk around to open his door, holding the umbrella over him. "现在可以出来了吗" (Can you come out now?)
He looks up at me, eyes shining with a mixture of hope and uncertainty, before finally stepping out of the car.
