The new government official stands nervously outside the meeting hall, about to attend their first official conference. Through the door, they can hear raised voices and what sounds like arguments about meeting protocols. Taking a deep breath, they straighten their robes and reach for the door handle. Before they can open it, the door suddenly flies open from the inside, nearly hitting them in the face.

A pink-clad figure rushes past, barely sparing them a glance. "Sorry, running late!" the man calls back, already halfway down the corridor. The new official recognizes him as Guo Jia, one of the higher-ranking officials they'd been warned about.

Collecting themselves, they try again to enter, only to have a purple-robed man with a cane exit slowly, eyeing them appraisingly. "Newcomer? Try not to get caught up in their nonsense," he advises cryptically before limping away.

Finally managing to open the door properly, they step inside to find the meeting already in progress, with Xun Yu attempting to hang Jia Xu out the window for "fresh air" while Cheng Yu argues with Zhang Miao about proper meeting decorum.
