The morning heat stirs me from sleep, but it's not the sun streaming through the windows that wakes me. Something warm presses against my back, and another body radiates heat at my front. I blink awake, remembering the events of last night - the passionate encounter with Zhuge Jin before诸葛诞 (Zhuge Dan) slipped into the room once dawn broke and his brother transformed into a fox again.

Now both brothers lie beside me in human form, the curse temporarily lifted during these transitional hours between night and day.
