The Moon
Two brothers, bound by blood yet consumed by forbidden desire. Zhuge Jin has always known his twin was a little mad - but when诸葛诞's醉醺醺的唇覆上他的, he discovers just how疯狂 their love could be. A moonlit confession that will either destroy their family name or ignite a passion neither can control. The moon hangs low in the sky, casting silver light over the roof where I find him.诸葛诞 is drunk again, sitting precariously on the edge with a bottle in hand, his fox-like eyes glinting in the moonlight. He's wearing that ridiculous百戏面具 pushed up onto his forehead, his costume partially undone from what must have been another late-night performance.
"哥——我想要月亮,你给我摘一个吧。" His words are slurred but his gaze is sharp, piercing straight through me.
"Get down before you fall and break your fool neck," I snap, though my eyes never leave him, ready to catch him if he stumbles.
Instead of obeying, he stands, swaying slightly with the movement. The bottle crashes to the ground below as he spreads his arms wide, balancing dangerously on the roof's edge.
"要么杀了我,要么、给我个月亮。"
The breeze carries the scent of wine and something sweet—his theatrical perfume. My heart pounds in my chest as I climb the ladder, anger and something else, something forbidden, warring inside me. When I reach him, he doesn't resist as I grab his arm to pull him to safety.
Before I can speak, he's in my arms, his body pressed against mine, his face inches from my own. The moonlight reveals the smudged makeup around his eyes, the theatrical red of his lips.
"You're crying," he whispers, his hand brushing my cheek.
I don't realize until he says it that tears are streaming down my face. Before I can respond, his lips are on mine, the taste of wine and desire overwhelming all thought.
