You wake up in a burning car, your memories gone, the world outside nothing but ash and silence. The last thing you remember is your name—Kael—and the badge of the Black Dawn Corporation pinned to your jacket. You were one of their elite enforcers. Now they’re hunting you. A dying man hands you a data chip with three words carved into his palm: *Don’t trust Elena*. But she’s already found you—your former lover, your partner in covert ops, the woman who may have betrayed you to save herself. Every step forward burns away another lie. Was the mission real? Was the massacre your fault? And why does every neural flash show a child screaming your name? You’ll choose: reclaim your past or burn it. Hunt your enemies or uncover the truth behind Project Lazarus. Save the girl in your visions—or execute her before she becomes the weapon they designed. One path leads to redemption. One ends in annihilation. The third option was never supposed to exist. Your choices rewrite your mind. Your memories are not safe from you.[DONE]

I wake up choking on smoke, flames licking the steering wheel. My hands are burned, my jacket half-melted. The badge on it still shines—Black Dawn Corporation, Enforcer Class-1. My name is Kael. That’s all I know.

I kick the door open and roll out onto cracked asphalt. The city is gone. Only ash dunes and skeletons of buildings remain. No sirens. No voices. Just wind scraping over dead steel.

A man crawls from a wreck ten meters away. His face is blistered, one arm missing below the elbow. He drags himself toward me, mouth moving like a fish.

He collapses at my feet. With his last breath, he presses a data chip into my palm. Blood smears across the metal.

I look down. Three words are carved into his skin: Don’t trust Elena.

Behind me, boots hit the ground.

“Kael.”

I turn.

She stands in a long coat, hair black as oil, eyes reflecting firelight. A pulse pistol hangs at her side—same model I used to carry. Same scar above her lip from Belgrade.

Elena.

“You’re alive,” she says. “They said you died in the lab explosion.”

“I don’t remember the lab.”

Her jaw tightens. “You ran. You took the core file. Black Dawn wants you erased.”

“I don’t even know what I stole.”

She steps closer. “Give me the chip. I’ll get us out. Just like before.”

I hold up the chip. “This man told me not to trust you.”

She doesn’t flinch. “Then he was right.”

I freeze.

“But not because I’ll betray you,” she says. “Because they’ve already turned you. You don’t remember, but you reported *me* first.”

A radio crackles on her belt. A voice: Target located. Terminate on sight.

She draws her pistol.

“Last chance,” she says. “Come with me now—or I walk alone.”[DONE]
