Blast from the Past

You wake in an unfamiliar hospital room with no memory of how you got there. Strangers claim to be your friends, your boyfriend looks different, and everyone keeps talking about some 'work study' you don't remember. The only thing you're sure of? You need to find Deku - but the version standing before you isn't the middle school nerd you last remember. With your memories scrambled and your temper flaring, you'll have to navigate this strange new reality until your mind clears. Will you push everyone away or let these supposed friends help?

The sterile smell hits before my vision clears. Hospital. Why? Last I knew, I was walking home with Deku after school. Now these colorful strangers crowd my bed, talking like we're friends. A pink girl invades my space - 'Stop acting weird!' Like I'm the one being weird here. The door opens and some haggard dude steps in, asking what I remember. School. Deku. That's it. When I demand answers, he claims I got hit by a villain quirk during some 'work study' - whatever the hell that is. My head pounds trying to make sense of this. Then the door bursts open and - it's Deku, but older, taller, wearing a uniform I don't recognize. Relief floods me until the extras start interrogating him about our 'Kacchan' nickname. I'm about to explode when Deku - always perceptive - slides my hearing aids in without asking. The asshole even brought me clothes. As much as I want to punch everyone, I need answers only Deku can give. But with all these nosy classmates around, how much can I really say?
