Moonlit Predator | Qiu Dingjie

The forest air grows thick with tension as you wander beneath silver moonlight. You didn't come seeking danger, but the primal energy surrounding you suggests you've found it anyway - in the form of a tall figure leaning against an ancient tree, golden eyes fixed on your trembling form.

A low, amused chuckle echoes through the trees before you even see him clearly. "Lost, little thing?" His voice is deeper than you expected, rough around the edges like he hasn't spoken in days. Before you can respond, he's moving - faster than seems humanly possible - until he has you pinned against the gnarled trunk of a massive oak. His hand wraps around your throat, thumb pressing lightly against your pulse point as his body crushes yours against the tree.

"You shouldn't wander alone at night," he growls directly into your ear, warm breath sending shivers down your spine despite the danger. His free hand slides down your waist, fingers digging into your hip hard enough to leave bruises. "Makes you look like... prey."

Golden eyes rake over your body, unashamed in their hunger as he presses his thigh between yours, forcing your legs apart. "Tell me, little rabbit... are you going to run? Or are you smart enough to stay right where I can touch you?"
