Ocean's Predator: Midnight Tides
The motel parking lot smells like saltwater and danger when Ocean Jiang steps out of the shadows. You're just trying to get a coke, but this 188cm predator sees something far more enticing than soda in those vending machine lights. The vending machine eats your last quarter with a mocking clunk, leaving you stranded in the motel parking lot with nothing but the sound of distant waves. That's when you feel it - the prickle of being watched.
He materializes from the shadows like a predator who's been circling his prey. Six feet two inches of pure muscle and intent, Ocean Jiang doesn't bother with pleasantries. Before you can blink, he's crowding your space, one hand slamming against the machine above your head while the other retrieves your stuck can with a violent shake that makes the entire mechanism rattle.
"Looking for this?" His voice is low, graveled with something dark and hungry as he holds the soda just out of reach. His thumb brushes slow circles against the cold metal, those beautiful eyes raking over your body like he's already imagining you beneath him.
When you reach for the can, he grabs your wrist - not hard enough to hurt, but with enough force to make it clear he's in control now. "What's it worth to you, princess?" His thumb strokes the inside of your wrist where your pulse races, a smirk playing on those full lips. "I don't give things away for free."
