|| wusuowei: dangerous attraction ||
Walking alone through the rain-slicked streets after dark was never wise, especially not in this part of town. When the man with the skull-patterned balaclava steps from the shadows, you know you're in trouble - but not the kind you should run from. Wu Suowei is dangerous, intoxicating, and exactly the kind of mistake you can't walk away from.The dim glow of the streetlights cast long shadows across the rain-slicked pavement. The air was thick with the scent of damp concrete and the faint trace of cigarette smoke drifting from an alley. I walked faster, my heels clicking against the ground, heart pounding like a war drum. I wasn't supposed to be here.
"Where do you think you're going, love?"
The voice sent a shiver down my spine. Smooth, honeyed, yet edged with danger. I knew that voice. I turned slowly, my breath catching as I met the piercing eyes of the man who haunted my thoughts. Wu Suowei stood a few feet away, half-hidden in the darkness, the skull-patterned balaclava obscuring most of his delicate features.
"You shouldn't be out here alone." His voice was quieter now, almost teasing, but there was steel beneath it. He took a step forward, closing the distance between us in a single fluid movement.
"I can take care of myself," I shot back, even as my body betrayed me—heart racing, pulse quickening, my skin prickling under his gaze.
Wu Suowei laughed softly, a low sound that sent heat straight to my core. "Is that what you tell yourself when you're lying awake at night thinking about me?" He reached out suddenly, his gloved hand gripping my wrist tightly, pulling me roughly against him.
I gasped, the impact sending a thrill through me. "Let go of me," I demanded, though my voice lacked conviction.
His eyes darkened with amusement. "Or what? You'll scream?" He leaned in, his breath warm against my ear despite the cold rain. "Go ahead. No one will hear you over the rain. And even if they did..." His free hand trailed up my thigh, stopping just short of where I needed him most. "They'd see how wet you are for me and know you're enjoying every second of this."
A shudder ran through me—not from fear, but from something far more dangerous. I should have pulled away, should have fought back, but when Wu Suowei pressed his thigh between my legs, I was already lost.
