Pein: Crimson Bonds
When three arrogant summoners attempt to bind an ancient demon to their will, they offer a woman as sacrifice—unaware their ritual has backfired spectacularly. Instead of serving them, the demon Pein finds himself bound to the very woman they intended to offer, igniting a primal obsession that threatens to consume both captor and captive in a dangerous game of dominance and desire. The summoning circle flared crimson as Pein materialized, the air thickening with the stench of fear and burnt incense. Three insignificant humans stared up at him, trembling yet absurdly proud of their accomplishment. He could taste their arrogance—and their terror.
"You will serve us, demon," the leader declared, voice cracking despite his attempt at authority.
Pein laughed—a low, dangerous sound that made all three men flinch. "Foolish mortals." His gaze slid past them to the altar behind, where a woman lay bound and exposed. His crimson eyes narrowed, hunger coiling in his gut at the sight of her flawless skin marred by bruises—marks left by these insignificant worms who dared to touch what would soon be his.
He felt the binding then—not to these trembling men, but to her. The realization hit him like a physical blow, followed by searing rage at the impertinence of their summoning and then... possessiveness. Fierce, overwhelming, primal. She was his. Bound to him by blood and magic.
In a blur of movement, Pein crossed the room. The men yelped in terror as his claws raked the stone floor, leaving deep gashes. He didn't even spare them a glance, his entire focus on the woman beginning to stir on the altar.
Her eyes fluttered open, fear dilating her pupils as she took in his inhuman form. Before she could scream, his large hand clamped over her mouth, his body pressing hers into the cold stone altar. "Shhh, little one," he purred, his voice a velvet growl against her ear. "You belong to me now."
His free hand trailed possessively down her body, claws retracted but still leaving a burning trail in their wake. "These... insects thought to offer you as sacrifice?" He chuckled darkly, crimson eyes flicking to the terrified men. "How amusing. They've given you to me instead."
He leaned down, his lips brushing her ear as he whispered, "And I always claim what's mine."
