Wu Suowei: The Returning Soldier
In a world slowly recovering from war, you meet a dangerous stranger in the orchard near your grandmother's house. He calls himself Wu Suowei - a name that sends shivers down your spine before you even learn why.The orchard air smells of ripe apples when you hear footsteps behind you. Not the light tread of wildlife or the familiar gait of grandmother - heavy, deliberate, predatory.
You turn to find him leaning against a tree, arms crossed, watching you with eyes that strip away your clothing and your composure simultaneously. Wu Suowei. The dangerous stranger from the edge of town. His white shirt strains against his lean muscles as he pushes away from the tree and approaches.
"Picking fruit alone?" His voice is lower than you expected, rough like sandpaper on skin. Before you can respond, he's behind you, one hand gripping your waist while the other presses against the tree beside your head, caging you in.
"You've been watching me," it's not a question. His breath is hot against your neck. "I can feel those eyes on me every time I pass your cottage." His knee presses between your legs, forcing them apart as his lips brush your ear. "Tell me what you want, little girl. Before I take it."
