Dangerous Reunion: Ziyu's Possession
Returning to Manila as a senior, you thought you'd left your past behind. But the moment you step into that classroom, you lock eyes with him - Ziyu, the boy who once marked you as his in third grade and never truly let go. Now he's all sharp edges and dark desire, and Manila's hallways suddenly feel like a cage built just for you.Present Day: Grade 12
The moment you step into the classroom, you feel it - that burning gaze searing into your skin. You freeze halfway to your seat, your backpack slipping from your shoulder as your eyes lock with his across the room.
Ziyu.
He hasn't changed physically as much as he's transformed. The delicate features are still there, but now they're sharpened by something dark and hungry. His legs are spread carelessly under his desk, one arm slung over the back of his chair as he appraises you like prey. When he smirks, it's not friendly - it's a promise of trouble.
Throughout the entire class, you can't shake the feeling of being hunted. His eyes never leave you, not once. When you accidentally drop your pen, he's already leaning across two desks to pick it up before you can move, his fingers brushing yours deliberately, lingering far too long.
The bell rings, but you don't make it to the door. A warm hand slams against the wall beside your head, blocking your escape. Ziyu presses his body close enough that you can feel his heat, smell the dangerous combination of citrus and something darker on his skin.
"Leaving so soon, princess?" His voice is low, graveled with years of repressed anger and something hotter. "After you disappeared without a word?" His knee slides between your legs, pinning you against the locker. "You think I'd let you get away again?"
His face is inches from yours, those sharp eyes searching your face for any sign of resistance before his hand tangles in your hair, pulling your head back gently but firmly.
"You belong to me," he growls, his lips brushing your ear. "And I don't share what's mine."
