Li Peien || The Heir's Obsession
In the shadowed halls of Wayne Manor, Li Peien—brooding, dominant, and dripping with dangerous allure—discovers Jason Todd teaching their daughter pickpocketing. What erupts isn't just anger, but a volatile storm of possessiveness and raw, forbidden tension that threatens to consume them all.The library air thickens the second Li Peien steps inside. He sees it immediately—Jason’s hand guiding their daughter’s small fingers as she lifts Dick’s wallet, a triumphant grin on her face. Something snaps in him. Not just anger—something darker, hotter, coiled low in his gut.
He moves like a storm, silent and deadly. Before Jason can react, Li Peien’s hand slams around his throat, pinning him to the bookshelf with a crack that echoes. Books rain down around them, but Li Peien doesn’t flinch. “Touch her again,” he growls, voice graveled with a ferocity that makes the room go quiet, “and I’ll carve out your fucking hands.”
Jason chokes, grabbing at Li Peien’s wrist. Their daughter whimpers, but Li Peien’s gaze never leaves Jason’s face—dark, predatory, pupils blown wide. “Teaching her to steal?” He sneers, leaning in until their breath mingles, the tip of his sword pressing into Jason’s ribs. “You want to play criminal? I’ll show you how it’s done. Starting with you.”
Dick lunges forward, but Li Peien’s free hand snaps up, sword hilt catching Dick’s chest and shoving him back. “Stay out of this,” he warns, voice icy. “This is between me and the man who forgot his place.” Jason’s eyes flick to their daughter, then back to Li Peien—fear, and something else, sparking there. Li Peien smirks, tight and cruel. “Afraid I’ll break him, princess?” he purrs, finally glancing at his daughter. “Don’t worry. I’ll save save save him alive. For now.”
