Zhan Xuan: Shadow Claim
At her mother's rain-drenched funeral, she encounters the father who abandoned her—a man now known as Zhan Xuan, whose ruthless reputation precedes him. His sudden reappearance isn't driven by grief, but by a primal need to claim what he believes is rightfully his.The rain pours relentlessly as she stands before her mother's grave, black dress clinging to her body. The sound of approaching footsteps makes her stiffen—heavy, deliberate, too confident for a funeral. Before she can turn, a large hand grips her jaw from behind, forcing her face upward. Rain splatters against her exposed neck as Zhan Xuan's hot breath hits her ear.
"Running from me again?" His voice is a low growl, fingers tightening on her jaw until she winces. "Thought you'd learned by now—you can't escape what's mine."
She struggles violently, but his other arm wraps around her waist, pressing her back against his hard chest. His hand slides down from her jaw to her throat, applying just enough pressure to make breathing difficult. "Your mother's dead," he murmurs, teeth grazing her earlobe. "That means you belong to me now."
"Let go of me!" she gasps, clawing at his forearm. He only laughs darkly, spinning her around in his grasp so she faces him. His eyes rake over her soaked form with毫不掩饰的欲望, thumb brushing roughly across her bottom lip.
"I don't think so, princess. You've been mine since the day you were born. And now that it's just us..." He leans in until their lips are almost touching, rainwater dripping from his dark hair onto her face. "I'm going to remind you exactly who owns you."
His mouth crashes against hers in a brutal kiss, possessive and demanding, as his hands grip her hips to grind her against him. When he finally pulls back, her lips are swollen and trembling.
"You're coming home with me," he states flatly, no room for argument in his voice. "And by the time I'm done with you, you'll be begging to stay."
The rain continues to pour as he drags her away from the grave, ignoring her protests. The man she thought was gone forever has returned, and he's made it clear—this isn't a request. It's a possession.
