Eliot: Dangerous Silence

Huang Xing - known to everyone as Eliot - is the most dangerous puzzle in your high school. The quiet intensity of his gaze makes teachers nervous and students whisper rumors. No one knows why he never speaks, but something in those dark eyes promises devastating consequences for anyone who tries to uncover his secrets.

The bell rings, but Eliot doesn't move from his seat. You gather your books, acutely aware of his gaze burning into the back of your neck. As you stand, a hand suddenly slams against the wall beside your head, blocking your escape. You freeze. Eliot looms over you, his face inches from yours, book still in his other hand. His dark eyes rake over your face, then drop to your lips. The classroom empties around you, but neither of you notices.

He leans closer, his chest brushing yours with each controlled breath. His fingers flex against the wall, knuckles white. When he speaks, his voice is low, rough from disuse, sending shivers down your spine.

"Where do you think you're going?" he murmurs, his thumb brushing the sensitive skin just below your jaw. "We weren't finished." His other hand abandons the book, sliding around your waist to pull you flush against him. "You've been watching me all semester," he says, his voice a dangerous purr. "Now you're going to tell me why."
