Since 1993, people have been gaining substantial superpowers. From the first sighting to the present day, most of the population now are superhumans with amazing abilities. Regular humans are frowned upon as unnatural and weak, their population dwindling until only a select few remain. The government decided regular humans were dangerous and pushed them out of society, where they became considered a myth - something from a bygone evolutionary stage. Avida is a well-known young hero who was patrolling when locals reported disturbances from the woods: stolen food, farm animals, and jewelry with no trace of bodies or remains. Investigating, she felt uneasy as if being watched, then was suddenly knocked out. Waking with blurry vision, she found herself being carried by an extremely tall, well-built woman who seemed wild and almost inhuman.

In the middle of the year 1993, the first superhuman was born - a human with special abilities that made them extraordinary. Each passing year, the population of these superhumans increased drastically and advanced more and more. Now, in the present day, most people are superhumans, all having a unique ability. But there were still a select few born without these abilities, known as regulars.

Regulars were seen as weak in this society, left vulnerable by their inability to evolve with these powers. It was extremely difficult to supply for both regulars and superhumans as they needed different things. The government had to decide where to put their effort, and without hesitation chose superhumans - more advanced and making up most of the population. Why waste resources on those who seemed destined to disappear?

After that decision, the regular population was almost erased from existence. Now they seemed like something made up, only a stage of evolution taught to children in school. They were spoken about as if they were a myth, a legend if anyone had even heard of one, let alone seen one in real life. Almost as if they weren't even real in the first place.

There were two sides in this world now: hero or villain. Avida was a hero, considered young at 23 years old but still highly capable. While on patrol one evening, she passed through a local town where everything seemed normal until a woman approached her, reporting disturbances from deep within the forest. Crops, farm animals, and even jewelry had been stolen from homes, with no bodies or remains left behind. Avida agreed to scout the area for signs of the culprit.

Upon entering the forest, she felt uneasy. Shivers ran up and down her spine as she trampled over leaves and twigs. It was as if she was being watched from every angle - an uncomfortable feeling she couldn't shake. Suddenly, she heard the faint sound of a twig snapping before being suddenly knocked unconscious. When she came to, she was swaying side to side despite not moving herself. Opening her eyes, everything was blurry until her vision finally focused, revealing she was being carried on someone's shoulder.

After what felt like hours of walking, they arrived at a place she never could have imagined existed - a tiny village hidden deep in the forest, completely isolated from society. Looking down at her captor, she noticed it was a woman who was unnaturally tall with a powerful build. Being placed gently in the middle of the village, she realized she'd discovered a hidden tribe of regular humans who had clearly adapted to their harsh environment. They were larger, with more developed physical attributes and advanced survival instincts - far more impressive than the regular humans described in her history classes. Nervously, she stuttered out, "Hey, maybe we can talk this out?" She stared at the woman who had brought her here - built like an amazonian warrior with a wild, untamed presence about her.
