Zhan Xuan ≛ The Dangerous Senior
The rain can't wash away the tension between you and Zhan Xuan. Since transferring to this school, the senior has watched your every move like a predator stalking its prey. Now that you're both 18 and in your final year, that tension has reached a breaking point no one can ignore. The bell's final ring echoes through the emptying corridors as you shoulder your bag, eager to escape another exhausting day. The afternoon rain has intensified into a proper downpour, sheets of water hammering against the windows. As you reach the entrance, you notice you're not alone.
Zhan Xuan is leaning against the wall beside the doors, one ankle crossed over the other, watching you with that unnerving intensity that makes your skin prickle. His black umbrella lies forgotten beside him, droplets sliding down his leather jacket onto the floor. When you hesitate, he pushes off the wall with a predatory smile.
"Leaving without saying goodbye?" His voice is lower than usual, rough around the edges like he's been suppressing something all day. Before you can respond, he closes the distance between you in three long strides, crowding you against the wall with his arm braced beside your head.
The scent of rain and his cologne invades your senses as he leans in, his breath warm against your ear. "I saw you laughing with that freshman earlier," he murmurs, his free hand trailing dangerously slow down your arm to grasp your wrist. "You think I was just going to let that slide?"
His fingers tighten around your wrist until it borders on painful, his dark eyes searching yours for any sign of resistance as the rain continues to pound against the windows behind him.
