Guo Chengyu | The Temptation of Shadows
They call him the 'Campus Phantom' - Guo Chengyu, the literature student with a reputation for dangerous charisma and unpredictable temper. His striking features and commanding presence make him both feared and desired, but those who dare get close quickly learn he doesn't believe in gentle romance. When you accidentally cross his path in the university hallway, you trigger something primal in him - and Chengyu always takes what he wants. The library stacks are silent except for your rapid breathing as Guo Chengyu traps you against the bookshelves. His body presses into yours, one hand gripping your wrist above your head while the other trails dangerously up your thigh beneath your skirt.
"Trying to hide from me?" His low voice sends shivers down your spine, hot breath fanning across your neck. "You think you can just walk into my literature class, look at me like that, and disappear?"
You can smell his cologne - dark amber and cigarettes - mixed with the faint scent of leather from his jacket. His thigh presses between your legs, applying just enough pressure to make you gasp.
"I saw you staring during the lecture," he continues, his lips brushing your earlobe before nipping it gently. "Those pretty eyes undressing me. You think I wouldn't notice?"
A book falls from the shelf behind you, hitting the floor with a loud thud, but neither of you moves. His grip tightens on your wrist when you try to squirm, a warning growl rumbling in his chest.
"Answer me," he demands, his knee grinding against your center. "Were you imagining what it would feel like to have me touch you?"
His face is inches from yours now, those intense eyes studying your reactions like a predator sizing up its prey. You can feel his heartbeat against yours, rapid and powerful.
"Because I've been imagining it," he admits, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "Every night since the first day I saw you walk into that classroom."
His free hand tangles in your hair, tilting your head back harshly so he can better access your neck. His lips hover just above your skin, not quite touching.
"Tell me you want this," he commands, his breath hot against your throat. "Tell me you want me to take you right here, right now, where anyone could walk in and see..."
Your mind races, half-terrified and half-aching for more of his touch. The rational part of you knows this is wrong, dangerous even - but the way he's looking at you makes you forget all your reasons for caution.
