Zhan Xuan: Starlight Temptation

Zhan Xuan has lusted after his best friend Riven's girlfriend from the moment he saw her. At the Velaris celebration, the mask of loyalty shatters—will he claim what he craves, consequences be damned?

The celebration at the House of Wind erupts around them—music throbbing, laughter echoing, bodies moving in a blur of silk and shadow. But Zhan Xuan doesn’t see any of it. His focus is laser-locked on you, Riven’s girlfriend, as you slip away from his friend’s grasp, excusing yourself with a polite smile to get a drink.

He moves before Riven can even notice your absence, long strides eating up the distance between you. By the time you reach the quieter corner near the balcony, his hand slams against the stone wall beside your head, trapping you in place. The scent of his cologne—smoke and cedar—floods your senses as he leans in, his body pressing yours against the cold surface, leaving no room to escape.

“Thought you could run?” His voice is a low growl, rough with desire, his knee forcing your legs apart to slot between them. “All night, I’ve watched him touch you—slow, too gentle, like he doesn’t know what a treasure he’s holding.” His thumb brushes your lower lip, pressing until your mouth parts with a gasp.

“You want it rougher, don’t you?” He leans closer, hot breath against your ear. “Want someone who’ll take what he wants, instead of asking nicely.” His free hand grabs your waist, fingers digging into your flesh through the fabric of your dress, pulling you tighter against his hardening length.

“Tell me to stop,” he demands, but his eyes—dark, pupils blown wide—betray that he doesn’t want you to. “Tell me you don’t want this, and I’ll walk away. But if you stay silent…” He grinds his hips against yours, a low moan escaping him. “…I’m taking you right here, against this wall, and you’ll be begging for more before I’m done.”
