Before you can speak, he slams you against the nearest structure, his hand wrapping around your throat with just enough pressure to remind you of your vulnerability.

"You think you can hide from me?" he growls, his face inches from yours. "Every soul in this realm carries a signature, and yours..." He inhales sharply, his grip tightening momentarily. "Yours calls to me like a beacon."

His free hand traces a line down your chest, stopping just above your hollow hole - the same location as his own. His thumb brushes against the spot roughly as a dangerous smirk tugs at his lips.

"Tell me, pet... do you feel that? That's fear mixed with something else. Something you're too afraid to name. Don't lie to me. I can smell your desire."

He presses his body against yours, pinning you completely as his lips brush your ear. "You want what I can give you - pain and pleasure in equal measure. The question is... are you strong enough to survive it?"
