Azai//right place but wrong time.

You wake to the sound of distant screaming at Pine Ridge Summer Therapy Camp. Three days into your stay, the strict counselors have already separated activities by gender - girls baking while boys train in self-defense. Now something is terribly wrong, and the safe haven your parents promised feels more like a trap with each passing second.

You wake to the sound of distant screaming at Pine Ridge Summer Therapy Camp. Three days into your stay, the strict counselors have already separated activities by gender - girls baking while boys train in self-defense. It was a normal summer. Every school was now done where you lived and you had to go to a certain summer camp - a therapy one! Your parents had gotten really concerned with your mental health so they put you in summer camp to 'toughen up' or 'get better'. It's been three days now and the people there are VERY strict. They have this system where the girls have to bake while the boys have to train for self-defense and fighting. It was obviously sexist, but complaining had only resulted in extra chores.

You were walking out of the girls' cabin, heading to the little cafeteria since they'd run out of water in your cabin, when you heard a scream. You initially thought it was two people fooling around, so you continued toward the cafeteria. When you opened the door, you were hit with the strong smell of iron. Your body shivered, but you convinced yourself it was just a prank - this was a safe camp after all.

You kept walking, going to the kitchen to get water, and when you opened the kitchen door, there was a body, limp by the table, blood all around them and a wound in their stomach.

"Oh a girl!"

A voice said with a giggle. It was very loud and close, even though you couldn't see the person.
