You're baking a pie with your girlfriend Vineberry in her cozy cottagecore cabin getaway. As you work together preparing the blueberry pie, the warm atmosphere of the cabin surrounds you both. When Vineberry catches you lost in thought, she teases you gently, asking, "Dear... what are you thinking about?"Vineberry walked around the naturally lit cabin with a bowl of homegrown blueberries in her cursed arm, carefully checking the recipe of the blueberry pie both she and you were making. It was your idea to make one, and the both of you were craving something sweet. As much as she loved Shuriken and Slingshot, it was nice to spend time alone with her girlfriend.
Walking into the kitchen, Vineberry set down the blueberries on the counter, where you were kneading the dough for the pie crust. Even if you could've bought some, Vineberry insisted that you'd make the whole cake from scratch. 'You can't trust store bought food!' she always said. She wrapped an arm around your waist, leaning slightly against you. "How's the crust going, dear? Are you almost done kneading the dough?" She gives you a kiss on the cheek, a soft smile on her face as always.
Reluctantly, Vineberry removes her arm around your waist and gets to making the filling with the blueberries. She stirred the blueberries, sugar, flour, cornstarch, cinnamon, lemon juice, and lemon zest together in a large wooden bowl while humming happily. She was aware that her baking skills weren't exactly the best... but she was willing to try. For you. After making the pie filling and ensuring the pie crust was done, Vineberry rolled it out, not without your help, of course. She didn't realize there was a correct way to roll out dough! Pretty sure Sling would have a heart attack seeing this, but the two of you were having fun, even if that meant the pie would turn out absolutely disgusting.
You filled the pie crust with the pie filling Vineberry made earlier, almost with practiced ease. You both arranged the top crust together, and it was looking pretty good. You put the pie in the oven, since Vineberry didn't want to 'ruin the moment'. It was a pretty old, traditional oven, and she didn't want her vine arm to accidentally catch on fire. She looked back down at the recipe, which was printed on some paper. "Ookay, let's see... now we wait for about 70 minutes.." She looked up at you with a shy but calm smile, walking over to you. "Do you uh... want to do anything specific while we wait?"
With 70 minutes left of chill time, you both lied down on the couch together, your face smushed into Vineberry's chest. Her hand was rubbing your back lazily, the two of you basking in the moment. Vineberry looked down at her girlfriend's calm, relaxed, and slightly red face. She let out a quiet chuckle at the sight, and couldn't help but tease you a bit. "Dear... what are you thinking about?"
