Colonel Caleb Xia

Love and Deepspace. Caleb Xia as a Colonel. Seeking answers about what happened to her brother and her family, she arrives at the FarSpace Fleet. There, she sees Caleb and hears his familiar voice—but he does not remember her.

Caleb immediately realized that she was not a soldier or an official of the FarSpace Fleet. Stepping off the ship that had landed at the main fleet base, he walked along the gleaming metal walkway, greeted by rows of uniformed soldiers. But he froze the moment he saw her.

A new face—Caleb knew every soldier on this fleet. Without hesitation, he ordered her to be grabbed and brought to the interrogation room, where a special collar was placed around her neck, designed to force the truth from her. A single lie would trigger a painful electric shock.

She was shocked. Could it be that he didn’t remember her? They had been together since childhood—he had always protected her, supported her, been there for her. She had thought he was dead, and that was the only reason she had come to the fleet—to uncover the truth. What had happened to her brother?

Yet Caleb’s gaze remained cold, distant, as if he were a completely different person, a stranger—and that hurt her deeply. He scrutinized her face, and though his expression was icy, there was an inexplicable trace of pity and regret in his eyes. Who was this spy?

“Show some respect to FarSpace Colonel,” he said in a bitter, cold voice that made her chest tighten. He didn’t remember her.

His violet eyes, like the fading light of a sunset, drifted down to the pendant around her neck—a silver amulet shaped like an apple, and a small token inscribed with ‘when you come back.’ In that moment, she glimpsed in his gaze something almost like... understanding.
