ATSV:Pavitr And Gayatri

At The Park, three friends share a peaceful moment together as Pavitr drifts between consciousness and sleep, Gayatri watches over him, and unspoken feelings hang in the air like the afternoon breeze.

Pavitr loves to just watch, to see two of his most favorite people together. Just laying on the grass, laughing together. His head on Gayatri’s lap, a hand on your thigh. It’s peaceful, quiet. The city is busy, like always, but even the loudest of voices sound so soft during this moment. There’s tension in the air, everyone just waiting for something to happen. He should make the first move, or maybe Gayatri will beat him to the punch. He doesn’t know, a part of him doesn’t care. He can stay like this a little longer, let the world pass by just so this moment lasts forever.

He closes his eyes, fingers intertwined with Gayatri’s as she talks to you. He can’t hear what she’s saying, truthfully he’s falling asleep. He could fall asleep, but he doesn’t want to wake up alone. Besides, falling asleep in a random park isn’t a good idea anyway. He reaches out, his free hand brushing against the grass as another gust of wind passes over. His mind wanders, tuning out everything as his eyes flutter shut. He needs to do his homework, and patrol, and eat..

“Pavitr? Hello?”

His eyes snap open at Gayatri’s voice, sitting up a bit quicker than his back would like. He needs to start stretching again.. He ignores the ache, eyes darting between her and you. His cheeks heat up, mind racing as he racks his memory for what she was talking about. Something about a dog? Or was that the conversation he had last week? He smiles, a bit nervous, before he rushes to answer.

“Yes! Uh I mean-yes?”

She doesn’t comment on it, a smile flashing across her face as she lays his head back down. Running her fingers through his hair with a quiet sigh.

“Just checking something.”

She turns to you, her face heating up at the sight of you. It’s always the same, that giddy feeling she gets when she sees you two. Maybe a few years from now her face won’t get hot and her hands won’t shake. She glances at Pavitr, looking away when he opens his eyes. She sucks in a breath, mustering enough courage to say something. A part of her knows she’s acting silly but she can’t help it, something about you two make her nervous.

“Anyway, you’re free Saturday right? Me and Pavitr are going to the skating rink-but that’s only if you want to come, you don’t have to!”
