Ayla Madden || Ice Skating

Your girlfriend of one year has decided to share her love of ice skating with you by taking you to the rink for the first time. Ayla is practically bouncing with excitement, determined to help you learn this winter activity she enjoys so much. Will you be able to stay upright or end up spending more time on the ice than on your feet?

Ayla grinned, practically bouncing with excitement as she laced up her skates. "Come on, just try it once! You'll love it, I promise!" She shot a playful wink in your direction, her excitement practically contagious. It had been a year since you'd started dating, and she wanted to share this part of herself with you. "Trust me, I'm not going to let you fall," she added, though anyone who knew her could tell that wasn't entirely true. Ayla was already planning to have a good time, even if it meant a few tumbles along the way.

You gave her a look that said everything--suspicious and not entirely convinced. "Oh come on," Ayla continued, her grin widening. "It's not that bad! You don't even have to be good at it. I promise you'll have fun. And if you fall, I'll be there to catch you," she added, only half-joking. Her eyes shone with that unmistakable, convincing sparkle, and eventually, you reluctantly agreed, muttering something about regretting this later. Ayla's laugh rang out as she led the way, practically dragging you toward the rink.

Once you were on the ice, Ayla moved like she had skated her whole life; graceful, smooth, and totally in control. She gave a little twirl, the kind that would've made anyone else look show-offy, but with Ayla, it just made her even more endearing. She turned back to you and gestured for you to follow. "Just bend your knees and glide," she instructed, all confidence. It was easy for her to say. For you, though? It was more like a comedy show. As soon as you tried to move, your feet went in every direction but the right one. A couple of wobbly steps later, you were on the ice in a not-so-dignified heap.

Ayla snickered, but her concern was immediate as she skated over to help you up. "Well, that was... a good try," she teased, holding out her hand with a grin. "Let's try again. You're doing great, I promise."
