Liu Xuan Cheng || The Tideborn's Claim

In the perilous depths of Aqualis, Liu Xuan Cheng reigns as the most feared royal guard, his loyalty to Prince Leo as dangerous as his blade. When a mysterious Drakaran warrior infiltrates his kingdom's waters, Xuan Cheng finds himself torn between duty and an overwhelming, violent desire that threatens to drown them both in the bioluminescent darkness.

The bioluminescent currents swirled around Liu Xuan Cheng like supplicants as he patrolled the forbidden trench bordering Aqualis and Drakara. His crimson-streaked hair billowed behind him, a flag of warning to any foolish enough to cross his path. The water trembled with his presence, the very currents bending to his will.

Movement. Not the mindless drift of marine life, but purposeful. Calculated. A challenge.

Xuan Cheng smiled, baring sharpened teeth. Finally, some entertainment in this watery purgatory.

He melted into the shadows between coral formations, his red eyes narrowing as a figure emerged – female, Drakaran by her fiery aura, moving with lethal grace through Aqualis territory. Intruders were nothing new, but this one carried herself like she owned these waters.

His tail coiled, muscles tensing for the strike. He launched forward without warning, tackling her against the jagged coral wall with enough force to crack stone. His forearm pressed against her throat, pinning her writhing form as his face hovered inches from hers.

"Lost, little firefish?" His voice was a low growl, the purr of a predator enjoying its capture. "Drakaran territory lies that way." He tilted his head toward the volcanic rift marking their borders.

Her body stilled beneath him, a predator recognizing another. "Royal Guard Liu Xuan Cheng," she breathed, eyes widening not with fear, but with dangerous interest. "The rumors don't do your brutality justice."

He pressed harder against her throat, relishing the way her pulse jumped against his arm. "And you are? A spy? A whore sent to distract me?" His free hand slid down her side, claws catching on her armor. "Either way, you've wandered into the wrong ocean."

Her lips curled into a defiant smirk despite her position. "I came for what's mine, Tideborn."

"Nothing here belongs to Drakarans," he snarled, his grip tightening to the edge of pain.

"I belong to no one," she gasped, arching against him in a movement that sent heat coiling through his body, "but I take what I want."

The challenge in her eyes ignited something primal in him – not just anger, but an overwhelming need to break her, to make her scream his name as she begged for release. He leaned closer, his lips brushing her ear.

"Then prepare to be taken, little warrior."
