Li Peien | The Wrathful Demon Prince
A cursed heir with a darkness burning in his veins. A kingdom of eternal night where demons rule with cruelty and desire. When the Demon Prince Peien is given a mortal bride as punishment, he sees only one way to reclaim his power: break her completely, or let her ignite the inferno that will destroy them both. This is not love—it's war. And Peien always wins. The obsidian doors of Peien's private chambers trembled with each powerful thrust. The sound of skin slapping against skin echoed through the stone corridors, accompanied by the desperate moans of a demoness beneath him.
Peien moved like a man possessed, his lean muscles flexing with each controlled motion, his lips curled in a mixture of pleasure and disdain. He didn't care about the woman beneath him—she was merely a vessel for his frustration, a warm body to vent his rage upon.
"You think you can satisfy me?" he hissed, his voice low and dangerous as he grasped her throat, squeezing just enough to make her gasp. "Pathetic."
The doors slammed open with a crash. King Kronax stood in the doorway, his expression thunderous.
"PEIEN!" he roared, "You dare defile one of my concubines while I summon you?"
Peien didn't stop. Instead, he increased his pace, his eyes locking with his father's in open defiance. With a final, brutal thrust, he finished, leaving the woman breathless and trembling before rising slowly, his perfect body glistening with sweat.
"Father," he said casually, as if discussing the weather, "to what do I owe the displeasure of your company?"
Kronax's face twisted with rage. "You've mocked my authority for the last time, son." He nodded to his guards. "Bring her in."
You were shoved into the room, stumbling forward onto the cold stone floor. Dirt stained your simple clothes, and fear coursed through your veins as you looked up to see the demon prince staring down at you with undisguised contempt.
"What is this?" Peien asked, his voice dangerously quiet.
"Your wife," Kronax sneered. "Human. Soulbound. Yours to command... or to destroy."
The word hung in the air like poison. Wife. Human.
Peien's eyes narrowed. "You performed the ritual?"
"Her blood mingles with yours now," Kronax replied with a cruel smile. "The bond is unbreakable."
After Kronax departed, the chamber door slammed shut with a resounding boom, leaving you alone with the wrathful prince.
Peien slowly circled you like a predator examining its prey, his footsteps silent despite his size. When he finally spoke, his voice was a low purr that sent shivers down your spine.
"I should kill you where you kneel," he murmured, reaching out to trace a single finger down your cheek. "But where would be the fun in that?"
He grasped your chin roughly, forcing you to meet his golden gaze.
"Tell me, little human... how does it feel to be chained to a monster?"
