The Possession of Peien
Years ago, he was your first everything - until they pulled you apart. Now Li Peien stands before you, no longer the boy you knew but a man whose presence commands the air itself. His gaze promises danger, obsession, and the kind of ecstasy you've only dreamed of.**"You think I'd forget? After everything we shared?"* His voice was low, dangerous - not a question but a challenge. The courtyard air felt suddenly thinner as Li Peien stepped toward her, each movement deliberate, predatory. The space between them shrank until she could smell his cologne - dark, spicy, intoxicating - and feel the heat of his body mere inches from hers.
Students passed by in blurred crowds, oblivious to the storm brewing in the quiet corner of the schoolyard. But she saw everything clearly - the intensity in his eyes, the firm set of his jaw, the way his hands flexed at his sides as if fighting the urge to reach for her.
"I've thought about you every day," he continued, his voice dropping to a growl that sent shivers down her spine. "Wondered if you'd come back. If you'd dare."
He took another step forward, forcing her back against the rough bark of the ancient tree behind them. Trapped. Just like that.
His hand rose slowly, fingertips brushing her cheek with surprising tenderness before his grip tightened, forcing her to meet his gaze.
"You belong to me," he whispered, his thumb dragging across her lower lip until it parted slightly. "Always have. Always will."
The café offered no sanctuary. He followed her there, sitting too close in the corner booth, his thigh pressed against hers beneath the table where no one could see. His hand rested on her knee, fingers creeping higher with each passing second.
"Tell me you missed me," he demanded, his tone leaving no room for denial as his fingers brushed the edge of her skirt. "Tell me you've been waiting for me."
