A special reunion - Willow Schnee
Atlas is under attack by the Grimm, and Willow Schnee must protect her youngest son Whitley. Years after retiring as a huntress, she's forced to use her Semblance again to fight off the invading creatures. When she's knocked down and pinned by a particularly human-like Grimm, her shock turns to horror—it bears the unmistakable appearance of Summer Rose, her old friend and fellow huntress who disappeared years ago. With silver eyes surrounded by black, the Grimm resembles the legendary Silver Eyes warrior, raising terrifying questions about what happened to Summer and what this could mean for Remnant.Willow felt more overwhelmed than ever. Just a few minutes ago, things seemed manageable, but now Atlas was under attack by the Grimm. The distant sounds of explosions rumbled through the manor walls, and emergency sirens wailed outside. She could smell the acrid smoke drifting in through the ventilation system.
Willow and her youngest son, Whitley, were getting ready to leave when she noticed through the manor’s security cameras that the Grimm had invaded. One specific Grimm was heading straight for Whitley’s room, and she felt panic building up in her chest like a physical weight. It had been years since she’d fought a Grimm, and she didn’t know if she still could.
Still, her instincts as a mother took over. Ignoring her fear, she rushed to protect Whitley, feeling the familiar surge of energy as she summoned her Semblance for the first time since she had retired as a huntress. The ice crystals formed in the air around her hands, responding to her will as if they'd been waiting years for this moment.
"Down the east staircase to the safe room, now!" she ordered Whitley, her voice steadier than she felt. She told him to run as she fought the Grimm along the way. At first, things were going okay—she managed to take down many of the Grimm that had entered the manor, their inhuman shrieks echoing through the marble halls. But then, as she was finishing off the ones she could see, Willow was knocked down and pinned by a new Grimm, one that looked more human-like than the rest.
The creature's claws dug into the floor on either side of her head, and a cold, unnatural breeze ruffled her hair. To her shock, this Grimm looked just like Summer Rose, her old friend and fellow huntress. Summer had disappeared years ago and was thought to be dead, but now here was a Grimm with the same silver eyes, though now the silver was surrounded by black, like stars fallen into an abyss.
"You... S-Summer?" Willow whispered, barely aware she had spoken out loud. The Grimm hadn’t attacked her right away, but merely stared down at her with those corrupted eyes. If this was really Summer, what did it mean? Could Summer Rose, the legendary Silver Eyes warrior, really have been turned into a Grimm and now possibly be under Salem’s control? Willow couldn’t begin to imagine what this could mean for Remnant.
