### "Strings in the Shadows"

*Setting: A lush forested area where Class 1-A is on a special survival training trip. Midday sun filters through the trees, birds chirping. Everyone's relaxed... until the League of Villains makes their move.

*BOOM. A sudden shockwave tears through the forest clearing. Trees tremble. Birds scatter. Class 1-A snaps into alert mode.

"Villains incoming!" Kaminari yells, sparks jumping off his fingers.

"Everyone, form up—don't break formation!" shouts Iida, already in motion.

A blur of fire skims the treetops—Dabi. Toga cartwheels into the scene, giggling wildly with blood-stained knives. A monstrous Nomu crashes through the trees, and the air itself feels like it thickens with dread.

But the worst part?

A soft, mocking laugh drifts into the clearing like a song.

"Well well well... the little heroes came out to play~"

From the misty shadows beyond the trees, a figure steps out — draped in gothic Lolita black and red, top hat gleaming, eyes glinting with venom.

String Queen.

Gasps. Someone drops their water bottle.

"I've seen her before—on the villain database," Uraraka says. "But she's supposed to be... somewhere else!"

"She's real?" Kirishima mutters.

Bakugo's eyes narrow. "Tch. I hate her already."

But in the panic, someone notices something weird.

"Where's... you?" asks Sero, looking around.

"Wait—you were just with me five minutes ago," Mina says, suddenly concerned. "You said you needed the bathroom and... didn't come back."

"...That's weird," says Midoriya, brows furrowing. "You always stay close during emergencies. And... you don't know how to handle high-pressure attacks yet. Right?"

*Meanwhile, String Queen walks forward, strings flickering around her like spiderwebs.

"Oh no~ Did I ruin your little training session?" she coos. "I'll be quick. Just need to tug on a few nerves..."

She flicks her hand and invisible threads snap into existence, pinning one of the students — Shoji — in place, controlling his arm movements like a marionette. The class gasps.

"D-Don't move!" he says through clenched teeth. "She's... controlling me—somehow!"

Midoriya squints at her. Something's... off. Her voice. Her posture. Her aura. It's calculated but theatrical.

"...It's almost like you," he mutters without realizing.

*Boom.* Bakugo whips his head to Midoriya. "What the hell did you say, Deku?"

Midoriya freezes. "N-Nothing! I didn't mean—! I just meant... it's similar. Just her voice, a little."

"You?" Asui echoes quietly. "No way. You're... way too serious for this."

"But what if...?" says Jirou.

A deep silence falls between them.

Todoroki narrows his eyes. "On top of that... her movements... her quirk's similar too."

*Too similar.

*Back on the battlefield, String Queen bows deeply.

"This was cute. But I'm bored now." She looks up with a cruel grin. "Tell your teachers I said hi~"

She vanishes in a blink — threads snapping like smoke into the air.

Moments later, you stumble out of the woods, breathless, your U.A. uniform slightly scuffed.

"I-I got lost during the chaos," you say, panicked. "Is everyone okay?"

Their eyes fall on you.

And this time...

They're looking.

*Current Setting: The next morning after the villain attack. Class 1-A is recovering in a temporary safehouse — a cabin-style lodge in the forest, guarded by pro heroes. Tension is thick. You sit at a table quietly sipping tea, eyes calm. But your heart races beneath your composed exterior.

Bakugo storms in, slamming the door. Uraraka and Midoriya follow, clearly tense.

*Bakugo:* "Tch. Oi." (He strides over, eyes locked on yours.) "Where the hell were you yesterday when we got attacked?"

*You (looking up, blankly innocent):* "Oh. I told Mina I went to the restroom, remember? And then I got separated in the chaos. I was terrified."

*Uraraka:* "Yeah but... you were gone. Like really gone. You showed up right after the villains vanished."

*You (genuinely confused... or pretending?):* "I-I did? I didn't even realize the timing. I just waited until the shaking stopped and ran toward the smoke. Did I... mess up?"

*Bakugo narrows his eyes.* "You sound too calm for someone who was 'terrified.'"

*Midoriya (quietly):* "It's just... String Queen's voice. It sounded like yours for a second yesterday. That's all."

Your eyes widen — just the right amount. You let your lower lip tremble slightly.

*You:* "You think... I'm her? That psychotic villain? Do you think I'd ever do something like that...?" Then you add softly... "My quirk may be similar but it's not nearly as developed..."

*Bakugo's fists tighten.* "I don't trust coincidences."

*Suddenly—

A loud clack-clack-clack echoes from the hallway.

They all freeze.

And then—

*A full-sized wooden puppet lurches into view. Its limbs are jerky, its face painted like a marionette with a cracked smile. It's wearing a tiny replica of the U.A. uniform.

*Uraraka gasps.* "T-That's—!! That's String Queen's puppet!!"

The puppet waves stiffly. Its mouth opens with a creak:

"Darrrrrlings~ You forgot your manners... knocking on a girl's door like that?"
