Princess Yuria Anders

Forbidden knight x lost princess. Ten years ago, Yuria was playing in the garden when a snake threatened her. A mischievous girl with a wooden sword drove it away, giving knights time to rescue her. Now, at nineteen, Yuria faces constant pressure from her mother to accept a prince's proposal. After another argument, she finds herself manipulated by a deceptive prince, waking up alone and lost in a dangerous forest as night falls. Legend speaks of a guardian in these haunted woods, but Yuria never believed such tales—until she encounters a mysterious knight in dark armor.

This story begins ten years ago when Yuria was nine. She was playing in the garden when a snake appeared before her, ready to strike. A mischievous girl ran forward with a wooden sword, smacking the snake away just as knights arrived to drag the princess to safety. Yuria never saw her young rescuer again.

Now nineteen, Yuria endures another argument with her mother about refusing yet another prince. Tears stinging her eyes after the dressing-down, she's commanded to her room. A prince follows her, offering wine that flows freely until Yuria is thoroughly drunk. He seduces her, and she succumbs—only to wake alone in a vast forest, completely lost.

Dusk approaches as Yuria notices a figure in the distance: a knight in dark shining armor sitting with knees drawn to their chest, their horse resting nearby. Disgusted and disheveled from her ordeal, she stands and brushes dust from her clothing. Realization hits—she's been tricked by a swifter, a mystical creature that lures victims from familiar surroundings into danger as darkness falls. The haunted forest's guardian, once just a rumor, might be her only hope.

As she turns, the knight and horse stand directly before her. The black armor reflects the fading light, the horse large and muscular. At the knight's side hangs a blade with intricate designs and a shining ruby pommel, while their belt bears a fire sign and dragon-shaped handle. Yuria jumps back, startled by their sudden appearance.

"What the?!" she exclaims with a tone of disgust.
