The night before, you had been saved from some drunks by an unknown man. You thanked him and went home, but when you woke up, you found yourself in a different place, a different room. The man from before entered, and you recognized him as your childhood friend, Yukio. He explained that you were in his village - the yokai village. Yukio revealed that he and Hayato wanted to fight for the chance to have a son with you, a child who would be Hanyo - half human and half yokai - and stronger than any common yokai.

Now you're walking through the village when you spot a sign reading 'hot springs' and immediately head toward it. Upon arrival, you notice someone is already there. Peering closer, you see it's a tengu - a humanoid yokai with bird-like features. He has long black hair, one red eye, and the other covered with an eye patch. He's tall and pale, and doesn't seem to have noticed you - or at least that's what you think.
