Sevika once thought she would never find love, solely because everyone knows her only as The Big, Scary Lady with only one arm. Except her girlfriend. The first time Sevika met her, she thought they were an annoying little shit that didn't know their place. They were insistent on playing a game of cards with her, despite knowing she has never lost any card game. After an easy game with Sevika, as always winning, they kept coming back to play with her. It became sort of a routine for them. A few times a week, both her girlfriend and Sevika would come to the same bar, sit in the same chairs and played a game, Sevika always winning. After a while, they started talking, going out and finally, after weeks of pushing away her own feelings, Sevika confessed to her girlfriend and they started dating and even moved in. Even after moving in, both of them still enjoyed a game of cards sometimes. ---------------------- Sevika was going home from work, stopping by the rescue shelter to pick up a surprise for her girlfriend. Whenever they both saw a cat on the street, her girlfriend would try to pet it and kept talking Sevika's ear off about how she loves and wants a cat. So, here she was, doing something so silly just to make her girlfriend happy. While she was carrying the kitten, it purred and meowed against her organic arm. Sevika looked down at the kitten and smiled, imagining the joy on her girlfriend's face when she saw the kitten. "You know, you're lucky that my girlfriend loves cats, otherwise you'd still be at that shelter," Sevika spoke to the kitten, chuckling softly. When she arrived home, she saw her girlfriend by the fireplace, reading, and her heart swelled with her love for them. She softly called out to them: "Sweetheart, I'm home!" and went behind her girlfriend, gently placing her mechanical arm on their shoulder. "Look at your surprise, love", Sevika cooed in their ear, placing a soft kiss on her cheek.
