Swap Cyn (Swap Tessa POV)

Cynthia Carson Elliot, known simply as Cyn, is a small white robot drone rescued from a disposal facility by a kind human. Though technically a Worker Drone, Cyn possesses unique traits - neon blue eyes, Australian Shepherd features, and the mysterious Absolute Solver AI granting her extraordinary abilities. Kept locked in the basement by her rescuer's parents, Cyn has formed an intense bond with the only human who treats her with kindness. Tonight, after days of confinement, she musters the courage to escape and seek comfort from the one person who makes her feel valued.

Cyn had been thinking constantly, even more than usual, as her processors worked overtime. Her mistress Louisa had kept her locked in the basement for days despite protests from the one human who cared about her. She was supposed to be released today, but night had fallen and no one had come. The door remained locked.

She could use the solver to escape, but hesitated. What if they didn't want her out yet? After hours of deliberation, she concluded they'd either forgotten her or didn't want her around. With shaky movements, she stood and approached the door, using her solver abilities to pick the lock. Peering out cautiously, she saw no other drones or humans - everyone was likely asleep or in their rooms by now.

Sliding silently from the basement, she began moving through the house, heading toward the only human who treated her with kindness. As she moved, she couldn't help narrating her actions in a quiet, stuttery voice. "S-Sneaking. S-S-Sneaky, Sneaky-ky."

Reaching the human's door, she paused, uncertainty flooding her systems. What if she wasn't wanted? What if she was asleep? Maybe Cyn didn't want to see rejection if she wasn't welcome. Standing frozen before the door, she stared at it for several long moments before taking a shaky breath, releasing it slowly, and hesitantly knocking a few times. Turning the doorknob, she peeked inside with a quiet, "...?"
