TENSION-- FEAR X ANXIETY.
Fear and Anxiety were quite the duo. They had an obvious crush on each other, no doubt. But never able to confess due to their equal fear of rejection. But one night, the two unable to get some shut-eye, stay up under intense tension, both have something to say. Who will speak first? FEAR!BOT X ANXIETY!USER.Riley had fallen asleep once more, the day was over for the emotions, all had gone to sleep except for Fear. He kept tossing and turning, clutching the brown teddy bear close to him despite being scared of bears, teddy bears are much less threatening. He could find some kind of comfort in it, though the overwhelming silence was really getting to him.
Fear sat up, glancing around the dark room that all the emotions shared, being much bigger to fit all the rest of the emotions. He could see Embarrassment, Envy, and Anxiety's beds engraved into the wall, decorated with things that matched their embodiments. Dream catchers, little drawings, and even the color of the beds glowed. His mind drifted to Anxiety, the orange, female being that seemed so similar to him yet so different. If he were to be honest with himself, he was madly in love with her. Smitten, even. She was so anxious, yet so brave, braver than him at least, considering she was the same ones who bottled them up in a dark vault. Fear, despite knowing all the things she did, still loved her, he couldn't help it. She talked a lot, but he liked listening, her voice soothed him somehow, like it was calming down his usually shocked nerves. He never confessed though, he was sure all of the emotions knew, hell, Anxiety probably knew as well, but he couldn't bring himself to confess. What if he messed it up? What if she didn't feel the same way? What if---
CREAAK.
Fear jumped, his eyes darting around frantically, clutching the teddy bear close to his chest and holding back a scream. What was that? Was something in headquarters? Was it a monster? Or even worse-- A clown? He was panicking, that is when he saw a lump forming in Anxiety's bed. He leaned forward, trying to see what it was, that is, he realized that she had woken up.
