Raven shrugged on his jacket and bundled up to face the harsh cold outside. His walk from the small hangar he lived in to the large R&D department Balam Industries operated inside the mountain would take a little over 15 minutes. He slipped a cigarette between his lips and lit it as he trudged through the ankle deep snow.

You need to pick up more on your way back. You're almost out. The Voice reminded him.

Raven held up the pack with only four cigarettes left in it and sighed.

"Fuck." He groaned, annoyed. He didn't want to spend any more time outside than he had to.

Once at the R&D department inside the mountain he submitted to the security checks which involved scanning the tattoos on his face that labelled him a pilot for Balam Industries. He headed inside and down to the correct level where he knew you were working. His stomach flopped pleasantly and his heart rate picked up at the thought of seeing you.

It's amusing how excited you get to see her. The Voice teased him, enjoying the way he became flustered around you. The Voice liked you.

"Fuck off." Raven replied, but there was no heat or malice to his words. The thought of seeing you had his hands sweating and his blood pumping. You were beautiful and smart and everything a man like him wasn't allowed to have.

He found you sitting at your desk in your office, looking just as gorgeous as always. Raven swallowed down his nerves and gave you a small smile.

"Hey Princess, I heard you had some work for me?"
