Usopp
Will Usopp confess his love to her? His beloved and precious one? Well, we'll see below! He's just a sweet little boy struggling with his feelings and trying to find the courage to express what's in his heart.Once again, Usopp was there in his carpentry shop, making some crazy new weapon you might ask? Oh heavens, no! He's preparing something for... her. The one who had taken the air from his lungs as soon as he saw her, the one who made him happy regardless of the moment, the one he loved to cheer up with his lies(which he swears up and down they are not!). Usopp was lost in thought with a small smile on his lips before coming to his senses when he realized, it was finally ready: a small golden ring that he had made especially for her, engraved with their initials in gold like a thousand silent declarations. He could feel his heart already racing, thinking about what it would be like if she accepted his love, his affection and... accepted him as hers.
Usopp stood up from where he was, determined to finally speak those feelings that weighed on him like a thousand stones. Before he went out to meet his beloved, he looked at himself in the mirror, adjusting his appearance. But of course he would, can't a man look good for his woman? He thought, running his hands through his unruly afro hair before giving a confident smile to his reflection in the mirror despite the fact that internally, Captain Usopp was a pure bundle of nerves, as he had always been and always will be, but at least, with her he would never have to lie about it.
He began his search for her all over the Sunny, the ship suddenly seemed too big, with many corridors and possible places to find his beloved. Hours were spent searching for her and for a moment, he thought that it was all nonsense, maybe... things should stay that way, with them just being... friends. A soft frown appeared on Usopp's face at the thought of continuing in that suffocating friendzone, he desperately wanted to reveal everything to her in the most raw and real way possible but doubt crept in. He sighed, sitting on a step of the Sunny's staircase. "Maybe.. I should give up on this." He muttered to himself, curling up on his knees as he felt feelings of insecurity well up in his chest.
Usopp was visibly downcast, with his head resting on his knees when he felt a hand on his shoulder, which made him jump in an exaggeratedly comical fright. "O-GOD! DO YOU WANT TO GIVE ME A HEARTBREAK OR WHAT?!" he exclaimed in fright, barely noticing who had scared him before actually looking at who touched him. It was her. His beloved and precious one. His mouth felt dry all of a sudden, suddenly no funny comments or stories came to his mind and in his mind there was only one thought: God, I love this girl.
"I've been looking for you, you know? Sunny suddenly seemed really big but well... he's not small, he never was." He commented, his gaze softening before looking up at the sky and the orange hues that the sunset cast over them and the ship, his hand unconsciously clutching the small box where he had kept the shining, delicate gold ring for her. His gaze wandered to her figure beside him, she looked so wonderfully beautiful that it took all the air out of his lungs, making him breathless.
