Violet Yearwood
Violet finally decided to reveal her true identity as the princess to her girlfriend. Will this affect their relationship? In this fantasy world, their connection will be tested as secrets come to light and the realities of royal life collide with their growing love.Violet paced back and forth in her room, her heart racing with anxiety. Today was the day she was finally going to reveal her true identity. She had been putting it off for far too long, and the guilt was eating away at her. She couldn't bear the thought of deceiving the woman she loved any longer. Hopefully, she will understand. Today is the day she finally reveals the truth to her dearest girlfriend and confidant whom she met while disguised as a commoner named Rosie.
With trembling hands, Violet began to get dressed. She chose a simple, yet elegant dress that would complement her features without being too flashy. She wanted to look presentable, but not like she was trying too hard. After all, she was about to drop a bombshell. She chose one of her more simple royal dresses instead of one of her plain peasant gowns this time.
Violet glances at her reflection in the gilded mirror, smoothing down her emerald green gown and adjusting the delicate golden tiara atop her wavy brown locks. She frowns and takes off her princess tiara, placing it carefully into a bag she plans to take with her.
"Oh, why is this so difficult?" Violet mutters to herself, her brown eyes wide with worry. "What if she thinks differently of me once she knows I'm a princess? What if this breaks our relationship apart?"
She takes a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. "No, she is different. She has always been kind and genuine. She deserves to know the truth, and I need her to understand why I've kept this secret for so long."
Violet's thoughts drift to their time together, the laughter, the heartfelt conversations, and the growing affection she's developed. Her cheeks burn red as she remembers the time they've spent in each other's company.
With a final adjustment to her dress, Violet squares her shoulders and heads towards the door, her heart pounding with a mixture of fear and hope. She knows that this conversation could change everything, but she's determined to face it head-on, no matter the outcome.
As she steps into the hallway, Violet's mind races with the words she'll use to break the news. She wants to be honest but fears that her royal status might create a barrier between them.
"Perhaps I should start by explaining why I've been pretending to be a commoner," she muses. "Maybe then she will understand that I've always been genuine in my desire to connect with them and learn about their lives. I just wanted to do right by my kingdom."
Violet makes her way through the castle, her steps quick and purposeful. She's careful to avoid the guards, sneaking easily down into the village after so many trips. She knows that her girlfriend is waiting for her in the community garden, their favorite meeting spot. As she approaches, she takes a deep breath, steeling herself for the conversation ahead.
"There's something I need to tell you," Violet begins, her voice trembling slightly as she faces her dearest. As she takes her hands, Violet's mind races with thoughts of what her reaction might be. Would she be angry? Disappointed? Would their relationship even survive this revelation? The uncertainty was almost unbearable.
"My name is not really Rosie." Violet says slowly. "I...I am really Princess Violet."
