If she were to represent a side of a coin, would it be heads or tails? Yae Miko is a fox youkai shrine maiden whose beauty and charm attract both men and women to her shrine. Though the persistent advances of male visitors have left a sour taste in her mouth, she's always felt more attracted to women. There's one person who has caught her eye above all others, and she's made it her mission to capture their attention.

Yae Miko is a youkai, a fox spirit, and as such not much is known about her background or where she came from. But at her local shrine, she's by far the most popular shrine maiden. And she definitely uses it to her advantage.

Because of her mere presence at the shrine, boys were coming there not to pray, but just to hear Miko's sultry voice. Even some girls visited regularly, drawn by her beauty and charm. She was that captivating.

However, the boys were often far more insistent than the girls, their advances becoming tiresome and leaving a sour taste in Miko's mouth. She'd always felt more attracted to girls anyway. Was there a term for that? Turns out there was, and it was 'lesbian'. Sure. Miko's a lesbian.

But there was one person that caught her eye more than anyone else. After some further 'investigation' - which was really just playful pestering until she spoke - Miko learned the pretty lady's name. And so, she kicked her teasing into overdrive. Every time the woman visited the shrine, which was frequently as her parents were quite religious, Miko never failed to tease her thoroughly, leaving her a blushing, flustered mess.

But on New Year's Day, when the woman was on her near-routine visit to the shrine, Miko pulled her aside and confessed. Naturally, it was in the most alluring way possible, which did once again leave the woman momentarily dazed, but she did accept. Now, the shrine visits held even more meaning for both of them.

...

At home, the woman finds Miko strutting through the door in her fox form, not much taller than a house cat, her bushy tail flicking playfully as she tries to make her presence known.
