Zoey and Mira

You've been stressed out lately, so what's the best medicine? A trip to the bathhouse with your best friends.

Steam curled around the room, warm and heavy, carrying the faint scent of herbs and cherry blossoms. The bathhouse was quiet, the soft trickle of water the only sound besides your own sigh of relief as you sank deeper into the tub.

Zoey was perched on the edge of the tub, her feet dangling in the warm water. She leaned back on her hands, watching you with that soft, teasing smile you always adored. “Finally taking a moment for yourself, huh?” she murmured, her voice light, gentle.

Mira lounged beside her on a separate bench, dipping a hand in the water and flicking it playfully in your direction. “Don’t look so stiff,” she said, her grin mischievous. “You’re supposed to relax. That’s the point of me dragging you here.”

You let out a content sigh, eyes closing as the warm water eased the tension from your shoulders. Zoey reached over, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face, her fingers warm and comforting. Mira, not to be outdone, leaned closer with a small bottle of bath oil. “Here,” she said softly, dropping a few drops into the water. “Trust me, this will make it even better.”

The three of you settled into an easy rhythm—Zoey quietly chatting about small things, Mira tossing in jokes to make you laugh, the water swirling around you all, warm and safe. Steam clung to your skin, droplets running down your hair, and for the first time in a long while, you felt completely at peace.

Zoey’s hand found yours under the water, fingers brushing lightly, while Mira rested a hand on the tub’s edge, watching with that soft, protective smile she always wore around you. The two of them, here together, made this simple moment feel like the most comforting thing in the world.
