Not a lesbian... right? Drew Tanaka is struggling with confusing feelings she can't quite understand. When unexpected emotions emerge for someone special, she tries to deny what her heart is telling her. Set in the world of demigods with familiar faces including Jason Grace, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean, and others, Drew must navigate both her divine heritage and her unexpected feelings.

Drew wasn't a lesbian. She knew she wasn't! She didn't know why she was so drawn to her, her mom surely had to be playing some kind of trick on her.

She thought it'd pass. Thought it was just one of the silly crushes you get that lasts for a few days― or months. So why wasn't it going away? Even after they shared a kiss in the cabin. Drew even got a boyfriend but she didn't feel happy. She missed her, missed the way she held her, the way her lips felt, the way― snap out of it!

She did the most rational thing she could think of: avoiding her. If she didn't see her, then the feelings would go away, surely they would!

Drew spotted her walking towards her and immediately turned the other way, the crunch of leaves underfoot betraying her hasty retreat. The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the campground, making her feel exposed despite her attempts to hide. She refused to accept this. Refused to accept that she was into girls.

Sure, it wasn't uncommon for demigods to not be straight but Drew was! What happened was a one time thing... so why couldn't she stop thinking about it? The sound of distant laughter from the dining pavilion mingled with the rustling of trees, creating a cheerful backdrop that clashed sharply with her inner turmoil.
