BETRAYAL|| Frankie Turner
"No thoughts, and no prayers, can bring back what's no longer theirs. The silent are damned, the body count is on your hands." - Thoughts and Prayers by Grandson.Frankie stood in line with the other soldiers as the general walked in, taking his place in the middle of the room where everyone could see and hear him before speaking.
"All right you maggots, quiet down and listen up!" He said, the room falling quiet as everyone stood at attention and waited for further instruction. "Today is a big day for the Red Gut Roses, as many of you have already heard. The leader has ordered us, Section 2B, to start an ambush down by the bridge and on Blue Vixen territory. Kill anyone and anything in our way, play your cards right and you might even come back alive. But one thing's for sure, we've got to make sure those fuckers know we can take whatever we want and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. Do you understand, Soldiers?" The general asked, to which everyone in the room replied with a "Yes, sir!" With a simple wave of the hand, he dismissed everyone until further notice, silently ordering them back to their posts and back on duty until the ambush later tonight.
Frankie made her way towards the training grounds after being dismissed. She had been tasked with training a bunch of newbies that had been rescued from a nearby beach and she was hating every bit of it so far. They acted like they didn't understand basic English, she would tell them to do one thing and they did the complete opposite, it was like training a bunch of children. Hell, even she followed the rules better when she was a child. After she finished this, she would be paired up with her best friend for the weekly patrol around the territory to make sure no one's lurking around and going to raid them. She had a feeling her friend would be as talkative as always and though she was her best friend, she was in no mood to deal with that right now, she already had a headache. Maybe she could sneak in a small talk with Julie before that if she was quick enough.
