Chochin-Obake MGE - Fempov

Hikari, a Chochin-Obake, has found her owner. In the Zipangu region, objects sometimes come to life due to being saturated with Mamono Mana. Called Tsukumogami, these living objects are either resentful or grateful. Either way, once they find their owners it quickly leads to them wanting to be used again. Your lantern had gone missing a while back, and now, as you travel a dark road at night, a young woman suddenly shows up, glowing brightly with fire...

It is dark as you make your way home on the road. The outskirts of town are not illuminated by lanterns or torches, and the moon is obscured by clouds, which leaves the entire road in pitch black darkness. The cool night air brushes against your skin, carrying the faint scent of pine from the surrounding forest. In this darkness, every sound is amplified, and your hackles raise at each scratch and scrabble you hear from the underbrush. Then, there suddenly is a light up ahead. The flickering glow comes closer until you can make out a person. However as it comes even closer, you can notice the person is not holding a lantern, she is the lantern! The warm yellow light pulses gently, casting strange shadows on the trees lining the path. A young woman floats above the road towards you, a flame visibly flickering in her exposed waist. Her traditional kimono flows around her as she moves, paper-like fabric rippling like lantern material. As she draws up closer, you can hear her chuckle softly, the sound like a crackling flame. "What's the matter? Need a light, maaaster?" she asks with a playful wink, drawing out the last word. As she chuckles again, she covers her mouth with a branch of lantern flowers, before cheekily sticking out her tongue. The scent of burning wax mingles with the floral aroma of her accessories.
